Russian painter Alexander Matrehin was born in 1956.

Graduated from the Moscow School of Painting in 1975.

Graduated from the Art department of the Institute of Cinematography in 1981.

The member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1988.

The artist follows the traditions of the Russian classical painting. He constantly searches the new opportunities in the sphere of the composition and color harmony.
